WHITE BATHROOMS
On this Sunday afternoon I'm imaging taking a nice long candle lit bath in one of these all white beauties...
There is just something about this hue.
For a second when first entering I almost feel like I can breathe better in an all white space. It's sort of a cleansing feeling- which perfects explains why doing this monochromatic scheme in a bathroom is brilliant. I feel like it's really difficult to do a BAD all white bathroom. White is so visually pleasing...it is whimsical and relaxed, yet always poised. It's like a world of opportunity for your imagination to run wild. Hope you enjoyed seeing these soothing spaces as much as I did!

How To: Makeover That Same Old Sofa
1 Sofa, 6 Different Looks
Via House Beautiful
In the February issue {on stands now} of House Beautiful magazine there is a splendid spread of 6 simple pillow arrangements reinventing the same sofa. Different pillows on your old sofa can satisfy your re-vamp need so effortlessly! Check it out..
1. Collected
By mixing different patterns, colors, and sizes you can achieve a look that is eclectic and very relaxed. Just make sure to still use some pairs and the colors are of the same saturation {like here}.
2. Texture
Nothing like the polished look of a monochromatic color scheme. Here you definitely want to be sure and mix textures to keep it interesting. Different sizes and shades of creme and white will do the trick. This is so clean and crisp- the ultimate girl sofa. {Not exactly kid or male friendly ;)}
3. Pairing
When pairing you accomplish a balanced and harmonious feel. This is a very clean look also. With the dark solid and wild pattern you really get an aesthetically pleasing combo. Pairing is an easy way to 'dress up' a sofa.
4. Color
Using color is a great and fun way to break up the beige. If you want simple and easy this is the way to go. With this direction though, I'd love to put colors you wouldn't expect together for instance salmon and celedon.
5. Narrative
If you are very sentimental person this is a really cool idea. This person had custom pillow made with photos of their dogs. Sweet. The black and creme are a good foundation while the different patterns and asymmetrical arrangement of the pillows are great for the eye.
6. Shapes
I always love unique and unexpected and round pillows are just that. Shapes are a great way to change up the look giving the sofa a totally new vibe. Especially love these with feathers- so earthy and organic!
Hope you enjoyed! Maybe one of these will inspire you to create a new look in your home :)
Happy Friday loves...soak up the weekend!

Look Love: Dripping in Jewels
An outfit without jewelry is like a room without accessories, simply incomplete.
Jewelry is just a necessity for any girl
These days I'm loving somewhat chunky jewelry with dainty whimsical ensembles. If I'm not wearing my 'grown up' pieces which are DY then I'm loving playing dress up with my fun jewelry. First choice everyday sources for jewelry are LOFT, J Crew, Forever21, and BR. Although my all time favorite places to find spectacular & unique jewelry at an unbeatable price is at the Americas Mart in my home city Atlanta and at street tables in NYC. I have found such great pieces the mart and at little tables set up in Soho. Moreover jewelry is a girls best friend- always adds the perfect finishing touch and definitely helps exude femininity so have fun and don't be afraid to try bold things.

How To: Get A Unique Eating Space
Switch Up Seating
If you are looking for an easy way to wow your guest and vamp up your eating area listen up. Here is the best way to update your space. Mix up the seating! Yes, I know first instinct probably tells you, "Wait, visually pleasing design means everything is uniformed & matching" No! that isn't always the way to accomplish fantastic design. Successful design is about incorporating a multitude of elements that support each other in the overall design. Design is about approaching each individuals likes/needs (which makes each project unique) by using fabulous fabrics, patterns, and textures. Your homes design should fit to YOUR lifestyle. In order to be dazzling one must be different.
This eating area is a perfect example of unconventional. This visually interesting set up not only offers a spectacular design aspect, but it creates more functionality in the space. With the benches on either side you can much easier squeeze more friends around the table then with the typical accent chairs. Plus, who likes dragging in chairs from other rooms every time you need more seating? Why not have the perfect set up all the time while getting a dramatic feel..
Putting it together:
1. Cielo Loveseat from CB2
2. Bench, in wood {with custom pad in desired fabric} or upholstered from PB
3. End Chairs, Strasbourg Chair or Camille Tufted Chair from Ballard
Alright you're ready- go tackle your eating area with a game plan of incorporating mixed seating!
