BLUE CRUSH

when a tray successfully captures a midcentury modern mood- you know it's radical.

groovy glassware with bold bones- yes please, I'll have a glass of that.

spectacular blue niches filled with sea fans- killer.

Blue isn't just a color, it's a mood, and that's why I love it so much.

MONDAY AND I'M THINKING OF

Monday morning and I've got a fantastic little console on my mind. With it's sexy chrome legs and rustic pine plank top it's a divine duo that I can't get off my brain. The exceptional mixture of elements is what makes this piece so great. Even down to the detail of how the legs inlay into the top to make a sharp and purposeful T for added interest & architectural element is just perfect. Functionality meets form in a beautiful way. Consoles are a favorite of mine due to their versatility and this little beauty is no exception.

CLEARLY IN LOVE

Clearly by now you know nearly anything is possible with lucite. From my 'clearly in love' posts you also know that it's a look I cannot help but adore. Incorporating an acrylic or lucite piece is one of the easiest way to asthetically ease a room. With it's weightless look it will keep the focus on the right elements in a room instead of adding confusion for the eye. These two lucite desks above are among my very favorite desks at the moment, clear or otherwise!
