Ikat is a method of weaving that uses a resist dyeing process similar to tie-dye. The dye is applied prior to the threads being woven to create the final fabric pattern or design. Ikat is an Indonesian language word, which depending on context, can be {the nouns} cord, thread, knot and the finished ikat fabric {as well as the verbs} "to tie" or "to bind". This fabric has been spreading through homes for years and will continue to for many to come. It's relax feel married with vibrant colors are a superb mix for a POSH home...

From traditional, to modern, and contemporary homes, ikat is a winner among them all. It is a pattern that drives interest and allows opportunity to combined with so many styles. Usually rich in color and excitement, ikat is a fabulous option to add a little update in your space!
