We're heading into the office for our lighting feature today. My favorite desk lamps at the moment happen to both be from Arteriors (an all time favorite). Both boasting beautiful brass and packing some serious swag I can see either sitting right on my desk. Desk lamps are the perfect opportunity to be quirky, you can have a lot of fun with them. Both of these styles shown above are simple, chic but very unique and I love that quality. Here's to two very cute desk lamps and another well lit Wednesday...

Fierce and fabulous are the only ways I can describe these Kelly Wearstler designed black and gold rooms. Rich in texture and interest (as always from her), the limits were crossed and the design wows. Black and gold are bold each in themselves but when you put them together and throw Wearstler's touch on the room it's bound to be dramatic. Her use of pattern and scale take these black and gold rooms to another level. I'm finding major inspiration from these spaces today. What are you being inspired by?

Today's 'well lit' fixture stands out for it's glamour and bold style. The Maxim chandelier by Arteriors boasts stunning dark antique brass and is an impressive 46" high. If you're looking for a focal point and attention grabber this beauty is sure to do the trick. I adore chandeliers of every shape, size and color. Lighting is a huge love of mine...if you haven't noticed! Cheers to a well lit Wednesday my dears.

Warmer weather doesn't just mean lighten up your wardrobe.  It's also a great time to lighten up your decor. There is nothing that says summer like wicker, seagrass, rattan, abaca and other natural fiber furniture. This look is not just for outside or beach houses either.  As you can see from these examples, it looks pretty great everywhere. Try incorporating more natural furniture in your space and see that summer glow come indoors!

Okay, not in every case but in this case YES! How gorgeous is this pink wallpaper? I can't stop looking at it. I can say that this is not my usual go-to color for walls but it's unexpected and that's what makes it awesome. This wallpaper is artsy, bold, cheerful and sassy- all without being overbearing. I love it! Here's a tip on this Tuesday, get out of your comfort zone. It's a saying I have to use a lot with clients. Are you willing to get out of your comfort zone to be surprised by how incredible your space can be? That is a question I always ask at the beginning of a project. Truth is, if you're not willing to try something new you're guaranteed to miss out on something great. This tip can carry over into any aspect of your life, but I'm definitely encouraging you to focus on letting go and being bold in your own space! xx

I just recently had the incredibly cool opportunity to meet Rebecca Minkoff. The 'downtown romantic' fashion designer is very down to earth and just as beautiful in person as in photographs. Rebecca's style is all about effortlessly mixing edgy with girly. She sported this look to a tee the night I met her, wearing the RM tough/bold Wes Moto leather jacket over her totally feminine RM Charlotte jumpsuit.

A few days after meeting Rebecca she selected the photo we took together as a winner in the giveaway she was doing to receive one of her collection pieces. I just got my gift in the mail and, of course, am already wearing it! She sent this gorgeous and rad leather bracelet outfitted with sexy shiny silver hardware - a great spring accessory to kick up my look a notch. With her spring collection fresh on the racks it's a perfect time to check out her designs. Her handbags are absolutely worth a look and so many of her clothing pieces are serious eye candy and inspiration for me right now. If nothing else, go cruise around her online store, don't say I didn't warn you that you wouldn't fall in love though.

happy weekend darlings
