The Panama armchair and table [in bronze] by
one of my favorite outdoor furniture companies, Dedon.

Hawaii embraces the aloha way of life... happiness, relaxation, and most importantly, no worries. It's such a refreshing lifestyle and way of spending everyday. In the workplace or out on the town people are completely relaxed and slow paced. They are taking in the most beautiful moments Hawaii has to offer. It is so easy to fall in love with the island's outlook and attitude on life. Hawaii is the absolute perfect place for peacefulness. Adventure is always just a trail or wave away but the sand always welcomes you to just sit and stay awhile. Excitement or ease is up to you just live the aloha way...

I have a strange and irriversable addiction to mugs. I collect them. I insist on having a mug from every city I love/have lived in/visited. When I drink my morning green tea/coffee it takes me back to that place & to a special memory I have stored away. It's a fun and effortless stroll down memory lane. Makes me smile and take a moment to remember and appreciate all the wonderful places I've been and people I've met. My husband laughs at me sometimes and asks, "Where did you go this time?!". Something that I love about mugs is although they are small they still can be a fantastic expression of style. Don't underestimate the little things, ever. Even a small mug can pack a pack a posh punch in your kitchen!

A moroccan mid-day escape awaits! How about those gold metallic poufs?! Pretty amazing. The green & teal color scheme with pink accents is such an interesting and exciting vibe for the outdoors. I love the vibrance and life it gives off. Hows for spending your Friday afternoon out here with a sweet drink and all your girls? Ideal. Happy start to your weekend loves!

Gracing the pages of the September issue of Vogue was Claude Wasserstein's sky-high Manhattan penthouse, gone cottage playhouse. Not a detail left to be desired. Everything in it's place and things in places you never dreamed when thinking of a home high up in the city. Filled with color, ease, and high style this NYC abode is right up my alley. The rooftop by far is the most impressive creation in this space. The mere amount of greenery on this rooftop is unbelievable, and to think you are in the heart of Manhattan. My heart beats wildly as a designer when something such as this space is accomplished in such a fabulous manner. Ahh, here's to another soul soothing posh place. Cheers!

It may be October but it's time to think seafoam + gold. This delightful duo is a harmonious pairing for more than just a few reasons. This soft palette is timeless, glamourous, and creates a good environment for a mental getaway.... And who doesn't want a room for that?!

Warmest Aloha on this Wednesday to all my lovely readers!

Step on over to a cozy corner! Each of these sweet spots are filled with their very own character and personality. I love a small space packed with big style, all of the above are a great example of that. It's important that even the smallest nook of a room should hold it's own. I believe you should be able to pick out any wall, corner, or any part of the room and it be beautiful. Nothing should be forgotten. Don't ignore the little details!
